Important local licensing applications

Our area has some wonderful places to eat, including Michelin starred restaurants and lots of places to have a drink but there are also 1000's of people living here, including lots of families with young children. So there has to be a fair balance between people enjoying themselves and local residents having a peaceful nights sleep.

Listed below are applications that we think will have a detrimental affect on local residents and on our area. They are important enough for us to lobby the local Council.  If they affect you, we hope that you will also write to or email the Council. There should be a link with each item listed below for you to make your comment.

  • Nizuni Restaurant, 22 Charlotte Street , London , W1T 2NB: License Application:  ref.x  LICENCING PUBLIC HEARING, TBC. CAMDEN TOWN HALL.  This application is to convert the upper floors of this building into restaurant use and the rear flat roof. They propose to put the kitchen on the second floor where the upper floors of the buildings on either side are in residential use. This is a fire and noise hazard. The proposal to use the rear flat roof for their customers will be a real noise problem for all of the local residents at the rear of this building where it is quiet during the evening. CSA HAS OBJECTED TO THIS.
